BCS Limited was awarded the opportunity to carry out the electrical installation works for the LED Advertising Tower.

Description:

The project was to install a new LED advertising screen next to Edgware Tube. The installation was carried out in January of 2013 and was to comprise of the proposed retention of 1 no: UKPN 69kVA – TPN – TT supply being retained within the existing feeder pillar plus installation of an additional larger feeder pillar plus sub main distribution serving one JCDecaux large format LED screen plus existing “Halo Lighting” with a potential maximum demand in the region of 66kVA – approximately 95A per phase was to be installed.

The specification and complexity of work meant we had to work alongside the LED Screen manufactures engineers who were from Japan with only a minor understanding of the English Language. All our electricians on the project were trained in the expertise of climbing fixed structures after attending a specialised course. The project was completed on time and within budget. We have since carried out many more installations to various shopping centres , street locations and railway stations. Please see reference from client attached.
